The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) is seeking information and relevant comments by **4 November 2026** on the following substance:

**4,4'-bis(dimethylamino)-4''-(methylamino)trityl alcoholEC No. 209-218-2**

The call for evidence also relates to material containing **≥0.1% of Michler's ketone (EC 202-027-5) or Michler's base (EC 202-959-2)**.

ECHA is gathering information to help inform a **draft screening report** being prepared under Article 69(2) of REACH.

The purpose of the screening report is to consider whether risks associated with the presence of this substance in articles are adequately controlled and whether any further regulatory action may be needed.

ECHA is therefore inviting interested parties to review the available information and provide any relevant data, comments or practical insight that could help inform the assessment.

**The consultation closes on 4 November 2026.**

Interested parties are encouraged to review the information available and contribute any relevant comments or evidence before the deadline.
